1. When is your shop open?
Flights of Fancy is open Tuesday to Sunday 9.30am – 4.30pm
We are open public holidays and Mondays during peak periods and school holidays.
2. When are Fairytale Fun sessions held?
Every Saturday and Sunday at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
3. Do I need to book for Fairytale Fun?
As we have limited places it is important to book. We don’t like to disappoint children.
4. Where do you get your amazing stock?
Jo the owner creates many original items for the shop. We also have creations by other talented people locally, from Australia and overseas artists. We also stock a comprehensive range of all those fantasy items people love to find in our store. These items are sourced from all over the world as well as locally.
5. How long has Flights of Fancy been operating?
Flights of Fancy started in 1990 and was registered as a business in 1993. Jo Morgan started Flights of Fancy as a wholesale business supplying fairy wings and other unique creations to fairy shops around Australia. Since 1998 Flights of Fancy has been trading on Gallery Walk Tamborine Mountain. We have been at our current location for 4 years.
6. Do we make custom items?
Yes, artist Jo Morgan does create, wings, masks and headpieces for special occasions, time permitting. Please enquire.
7. Can I pay with card?
Yes, we have eftpos and credit card facilities, mastercard and visa only. Credit card transactions will be charged a 2% fee, cheque or savings card transactions are fee-free. Our minimum purchase for card transactions is $10. We do not accept phone payments by credit card, however we can offer direct deposit or paypal.
8. Do you ship items?
We can ship selected items, however, we will not ship large breakable items or items exceeding 3 kg.
9. Is there an entrance fee for Flights of Fancy?
Absolutely not. Our store is free to all visitors, but be warned – you will be tempted to buy 🙂
